Weekly cultural magazine
Iraqi books, theatre and art in half an hour

The episode goes back to 1869, when “Al-Zawraa”, Iraq's first newspaper, was published, and traces the birth of the Baghdad press in the early 20th century and its literary and satirical magazines. The two guests read examples of articles from that period and talk about the role of the press in shaping the city's modern cultural awareness.
